KISHALAYA SCHOOL
A young woman with a dream had a passion of making a difference. She always loved getting involved with all sorts of cultural programs and passionate about poetry, recitation, music, anchoring, stage dramas, educational and social activities and more.
She married at her early age. Then she eventually moved to a new, small and beautiful city: Malbazar. She always wanted to be independent, with a desire to light up lives and societies with cultural talents. She saw no better way to do this than through the power of education. She went on to share her dream with her husband, who supported her to make her wish in reality. All of this laid the foundations for the birth of Kishalaya School in the year 1987.
While the humble school started with less than 10 children, it has gone on to thrive with more than 400 students today. The journey wasn’t easy; full of endless challenges and obstacles. However, the founder continued to focus on the destination, turning Kishalaya into the most trusted school out of all its competitors, with the highest number of parents/guardians choosing the institution.

It’s a renowned school not just in its city, but in the entire zone too. For more than 30 years, Kishalaya has been delivering education to thousands of students. Our study levels start from Pre-KG, going on to KG1, KG2 and classes I, II and III all the way up to class IV. The School Committee has single-handedly organized many cultural programs; having some of the most popular singers, reciters and dancers take to the stage. Kishalaya is a proud Bengali Medium Co-Education School, proving that every child is equal in their right to access superior education. Today, we’re nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. We feel so proud when our children get settled in their life, move towards their goal and become a kind human being. Their success is our achievement.
